French Toast Waffles
Yield: 12 pieces
12 slices white or wheat bread
1 egg
3 egg whites
1/3 c. skim milk
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. cinnamon
Beat egg whites and beat egg (separately). Blend eggs, milk, salt, and cinnamon. Dip bread in mixture and place in hot, greased waffle iron. Cook until desired crispiness and the center is cooked.
