Layered Jello


Layered Jello



For one color or two layers:

1 pkg. (3 oz.) flavored Jello
2 cups water
2/3 cup sour cream
6 TB water

Boil 2 cups of water and add one package gelatin. Stir until dissolved (about 3 minutes). Split into two equal portions, each about 1 cup. Add sour cream to one portion and allow to melt. Add 6 TB cold water to other portion and stir.  One portion will still be clear, the other creamy. Pour one portion into a glass bowl or pan and place in refrigerator until set. Once set, pour second portion using the back of a spoon to make sure it doesn’t make a hole in the portion already set. Repeat for multiple colors, layering clear and creamy, and top with cool whip if desired.
