Cream Cheese Frosting

Yield: enough to cover a 9x13 bake
- 8- oz package cream cheese, softened
- 4 TB salted butter, softened
- 2 c powdered sugar (228 g)
- 1 TB sour cream or plain yogurt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix together the cream cheese and butter until very smooth and light, 2-3 minutes.
Add the powdered sugar, sour cream, and vanilla.

Mix until combined. Increase the speed to medium-high and whip the frosting for 2-3 minutes until very light and fluffy.
