Oatmeal Choc Chip Cookies (Freezer ones)
Patty W.
Yield: 4 dozen

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
1 ½ c. quick oats
1 bag milk chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add next four ingredients and mix well. Add quick oats and mix until dough is mixed together. Add in chocolate chips and stir. Spoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes.

To eat as cookie dough:
  • Make sure to let it sit for a few minutes to let the sugars dissolve!
  • For freezer dough that is a little less sweet, use only 3/4 c. brown sugar, only 3/4 c. white sugar, only one egg, and slightly less flour.
  • Spoon into balls on cookie sheet and place in freezer until frozen solid. You can leave them on the cookie sheet or put the frozen dough balls in a Ziploc.
