Southern Cobbler

Yield: one 8x8 pan
1 c. SELF-RISING flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
3-4 c. fruit
1 TB butter
Melt butter in bottom of an 8x8 pan (or similar size). Mix flour, sugar and milk until blended. Pour
into bottom of pan. Prepare berries or fruit by warming if frozen, adding sugar
if desired, and mixing up if desired. Pour gently over the top of the mixture
in pan. Bake at 350 for 30-45 minutes – cake-like cobbler should rise to the
top, gooeyness should decrease, and the top should be golden brown. Serve warm
with ice cream!
