Poppy Seed Dressing


Poppy Seed Dressing

Yield: salad for 8-10

 2 TB sesame seeds
 2 TB poppy seeds
 1 c. white sugar
 1 c. olive oil
 ½ c. white vinegar
 ½ tsp. paprika
 ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce
 2 TB minced onion

*Goes with about 20 oz. spinach and extra toppings (2 cans mandarin oranges, sliced almonds, grated cheese, etc.)

In a medium bowl, whisk together the sesame seeds, poppy seeds, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, paprika, Worcestershire sauce and onion. Cover, and chill for one hour. Serve tossed with greens, but it’s best to wait to mix until ready to serve!
