Sam's Baked French Toast


Sam's Baked French Toast

Yield: one 9x13 pan

1 loaf French bread
6 eggs
½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. vanilla
½ c. milk
½ c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2 TB karo syrup

Slice French bread and layer in a greased 9x13 pan. Mix next 4 ingredients and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Mix butter, brown sugar, and karo syrup on the stove but don’t boil. Add frozen blueberries or raspberries. Pour mixture over bread. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
