Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yield: 4 dozen
2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
1 TB baking powder
5-6 c. flour
1 11-oz. bag chocolate chips
Mix shortening, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients except chocolate chips and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop onto greased cookie sheet and freeze or bake for 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
