Yield: 2 dozen
1 c. butter
1 ½ c. sugar
2 eggs
2 ¾ c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
2 TB sugar
2 TB cinnamon
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy and add eggs, blending well. Add dry ingredients except sugar and cinnamon. Roll dough into small balls the size of walnuts. Roll the balls in a mixture of the cinnamon and sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 8-10 mins. Do not overcook!
