Dutch Oven Cobbler


Dutch Oven Cobbler

Yield: one 12” Dutch oven, 10 servings

1 c. of flour
1 c. of sugar
1 c. of milk
½ tsp. of baking powder
1 quart of fruit (peaches, blackberries, etc.)
A dash of nutmeg and cinnamon
1 cube of butter or margarine (sliced)

Combine flour, sugar, milk, and baking powder in a large bowl and mix. Place fruit in a Dutch oven. Sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon. Pour flour mixture into Dutch oven and place sliced margarine on the top.

Bake at 325° in a regular oven for 1 hour or at 350° in a Dutch oven for 45 minutes.
