Amazing Apple syrup
*Good on most baked breakfasts

Yield: 2 ½ c. syrup
1 c. sugar
2 TB cornstarch
¼ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
2 c. apple cider or juice
2 TB lemon juice
¼ c. butter
Combine apple cider and cornstarch and mix thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients except butter. Bring to a boil. Add butter at the last minute and let melt. Serve while hot.
