Raspberry Muffins


Raspberry Muffins

Yield: 12 large muffins

¾ c. sugar
½ c. shortening
1 egg
½ tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour
1 can milk
2 c. raspberries

Cream sugars and add salt, baking powder, and flour, alternating with milk. Put raspberries in colander and let defrost a little. Fold in raspberries and spoon into greased muffin tin.  Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
