Buttermilk Syrup
*Good on French Toast Bake

Yield: 1 ½ c. syrup
½ c. butter
½ c. sugar
¾ c. buttermilk
½ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Bring butter, sugar, and buttermilk to a boil. Take off heat and add baking soda and vanilla. Syrup should bubble. Stir gently and serve.
