South African Curry Roast


South African Curry Roast
Yield: 6-8 servings

3 lb. chicken (uncooked)
8 potatoes, diced (with skins)
1-2 onions, diced
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. pepper
5 garlic cloves
2 cans diced tomatoes
1 TB curry powder
1 TB chili powder

Lightly brown onions in oil. Mix all ingredients in a crock-pot. Place chicken in crock-pot and cover. Cook on high 3-4 hours (or longer) until chicken is done. Serve over rice with rolls.
