Layered Jello

Layered Jello

Use 3-5 large jello boxes for a completed layered jello.
You can arrange them in random order, rainbow order, reverse rainbow, etc

FOR EACH COLOR:
**One 6 oz. box makes two layers - one clear and one creamy-

1 large pkg. (6 oz.) flavored Jello
2 c. water
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 c. water

*Top finished layered jello with with whipped cream*

Boil 2 cups of water and add one 6 oz package gelatin. Stir until dissolved (about 3 minutes). Split into two equal portions, each about 1 cup. Add sour cream to one portion and stir to melt. Add the 1/2 c. cold water to the other portion and stir.  One portion will still be clear, the other creamy. Pour one portion into a glass bowl or pan and place in refrigerator until set. (you can leave the other portion on the counter) Once set, pour second portion using the back of a spoon to make sure it doesn’t make a hole in the portion already set. Repeat for multiple colors, layering clear and creamy, and top with cool whip if desired.

(*can use evaporated milk instead of sour cream as a backup*)
